English is a
thing that I like so much since I was in elementary school. So, I take English
Education department when I continue my study at the college. Perhaps, there
are among you all who are wondering, how I learn English or how could I use
English. Although my English hasn’t been perfect yet, I will tell you several
ways how I learn English. Therefore your English skill will be improved.
Actually,
the first thing that I do is I try to like English since I was in elementary
school and yeah Alhamdulillah I can like it until this moment and it makes me
to be able to use English.😊😊
Second one
is I often watch western movies, although I haven’t ever use English subtitle
until the movie ends. But, when I find the interesting dialogue, I will use
English subtitle and try to impersonate how the cast pronounce the words in the
movies. And if I find the unfamiliar words, I will check dictionary to know how
to pronounce and what the meaning is.
The next one
is watch the videos on youtube about English. You can search youtube channel
“English with Lucy”, “mmmEnglish”, “BBC Learning English”, “linguamarina”,
“Rachel’s English” and so on. Those channels tell everything about English.
The last,
sometimes I speak to my close friends by using English. Especially, my close
friends and I have agreed that on Tuesday we have to speak English, although we
often forget to use it hahaha. We always ignore the
mistakes on grammar that might be happened in speaking English. But,
if I don’t have interlocutor, I always speak English alone at front of the
mirror.
Okay,
It is enough to share the several ways how I learn English. You can choose one
of them to improve your skill on English or maybe you can use all of them. And
remember the most important thing is we must be more confident to learn English without fear anymore.
